  • FAQs

    • What kind of photos should I send?

Almost any photo you will work. Try to select photos that are clear and sharp. If emailing, please send your photos in jpeg format at 300 dpi. If mailing, label you photos with contact information and protect them with sturdy cardboard before sending. If for some reason we can not use your photos, we will contact you. If your photos were taken at a professional photographer, we do need a copyright release.
    • Can I change or update my photos?

Yes, most of our photo jewelry items can be updated or changed. The update option will show up on the bottom of the page for each individual piece if it is available.
    • How do I obtain proper wrist measurement?

Simply use a flexible measuring tape or take a piece of loose string/ribbon and place around the wrist area. Align string/ribbon alongside a ruler or measuring tape to get wrist measurement. For children, add 1/2" to wrist measurement to get proper sizing and for adults, add 1" to the actual wrist measurement. Example: If my child's actual wrist measures 5.5", I would add 1/2" to get her bracelet size, which would measure 6.0".

    • How do I care for my jewelry?

We want you to enjoy your jewelry as long as possible! Please remember that the lifetime of your jewelry depends on the care with which it's treated. Below you will find care and recommendations for cleaning and storing your jewelry. This list is not all-inclusive, just some pointers for some of the most common improper care used in jewelry care.

*Put on your jewelry after you have applied your makeup and used your hairspray.
*Always remove your jewelry before using chemical products.
*It's best not to hang your jewelry. Place it inside a pouch or jewelry box instead.
*Do not leave your jewelry lying in the sun. The sun can cause discoloration or fading.
*Do not pull, tug, or twist your jewelry, especially by the jewels or pearls. Sterling silver wire is delicate and will stretch and break if subjected to too much stress. Silk, satin, leather and even stainless steel will also stretch.
*Most of the time, all you need to do to keep your jewelry clean and ready to wear is to use a jewelry cloth to gently wipe each piece clean after wearing. To help retard tarnish when not wearing your jewelry, store in an air tight sealed plastic bag.
*To remove fingerprints, oils or dirt, add a small amount of mild liquid soap to half cup of warm water, soaking for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and use only a jewelry cloth to pat dry your pieces. Make sure they are completely dry before storing them in an air tight, bag.
*Never use toothpaste or other abrasives to clean metal or stones, and avoid abrasive commercial jewelry cleaners or "dips," especially on pieces with an oxidized finish. Silver polish can remove the color, and harsh polishing cleaners will alter the antique look of your jewelry.
*Never use dips on gemstones or pearls. To remove excessive tarnish on silver, polish with a jewelry cloth and a non-abrasive metal cleaner.
*Avoid soaking pearls and soft stones such as amber, lapis lazuli, turquoise, emerald, malachite, or onyx. Extended soaking in any solution may harm the polish on the stone. Wipe them gently with a jewelry cloth until clean.
*Never wear pearls while bathing, swimming or hot tubbing.
*Use a clean, soft, dry cloth to wipe your pearls clean after wearing, and store them in a soft pouch or cloth.
*Wash pearls in a mild soap and rinse well. Allow them to air dry laying on a soft towel.

Adult supervision is of the upmost importance when jewelry and children are involved. Jewelry purchased for children under the age of three is recommended for use as heirloom quality gifts. It should be worn for special occasions such as Christenings, Baptisms, Photos, etc...and tucked away as treasured keepsakes. Children over the age of three should still be supervised when wearing their precious jewelry. It should be removed when engaging in child's play to prevent damage and breakage. Jewelry should be always be removed before napping/bedtime. Although, we do use the finest quality stringing materials to ensure a top-quality product, accidents can and do occur. We ask that you use caution and be aware that our jewelry does contain small parts that could present themselves as choking hazards. We do include a safety care card with every jewelry purchase, so the recipient is aware of the potential harms associated with children's jewelry.
